our creative director and co-founder, angel iskrev, was part of the baku flames international festival of creativity and effectiveness, serving both on the jury and on stage.
this year’s jury brought together a group of people sharp enough to cut through case films with just a look.
it was a tough process. it was fair. and it was exactly as it should be.
from challenging the work to defending the thinking behind it — the conversations were everything a creative jury should be: open, critical, and uncompromising.
angel also joined sinan aghayev, farrukh sharif, and emily kordize on stage, presented by m10, for a conversation about what it really takes to build big ideas today.
a talk about the invisible part of the process — the part that doesn't make it to the case film, the part that gets messy, the part that makes the difference.
or, as angel put it himself:
ideas don’t start big. they start uncomfortable. and that’s where the good ones live.
we are grateful to baku flames and the entire team for the opportunity, the stage, the conversations, and the sharp jury room.
